Inpatient is a 3 - Piece Psych Prog band from Akron Ohio. They are committed to creating a unique live experience, while bringing many influences. Inspirations from 70s prog and psych, proto-punk, and improvisational music. Inpatient never fails to bring a captivating show and continuing to form their individual fanbase.

Starting in 2023, Inpatient have already established opening slots for popular psych group Meatbodies. They have accrued close relationships with scenes in Nashville, Cincinnati, and Fort Wayne. Inpatient is built around core members Kyle Cook, Miguel Tarin Torres, and Clay Craigo. “Inpatient Bastard EP” was debuted a few years after Kyle was cooped up during the pandemic. These four original ideas pull from ideas of growing older, life during isolation and the anxieties that come from both. After joining forces with Miguel and Clay, Inpatient has grown to become an absolute monolith of sound. Completely reinventing these original ideas and conjuring up collaborative prog madness. Through evidence of their newest single “Brain Sludge”, being a high adrenaline, psych punk head trip. They plan on spending time in the studio recording their debut album and hitting the road as soon as God allows.
